After enjoying Alexandria Ridley’s appearance in the Hiram Kane series， and loving the very promising novella （I， Survivor）， I was very happy to get my hands on the first Ridley novel ！ Alex is a brave， fierce， and determined woman。 In this story she battles human trafficking， and I enjoyed every page of the story。 Brilliantly written and an intriguing storyline！

Having read the Kayla Stone Vigilante series by this author along with Luke Richardson I had a good idea of what to expect， you might remember I enjoyed this series， Kayla features in this book as Alexandria’s ‘right hand lady’ so in some ways was a continuation for me of her adventures， anyway with this book we start Alexandria’s quest for revenge against the sick human traffickers who held her in TibetThe book is focused in Mumbai and as always the author creates the atmosphere， smells， sights Having read the Kayla Stone Vigilante series by this author along with Luke Richardson I had a good idea of what to expect， you might remember I enjoyed this series， Kayla features in this book as Alexandria’s ‘right hand lady’ so in some ways was a continuation for me of her adventures， anyway with this book we start Alexandria’s quest for revenge against the sick human traffickers who held her in TibetThe book is focused in Mumbai and as always the author creates the atmosphere， smells， sights， tastes and colours wonderfully and you picture immediately the City and it’s vast polar opposite’s from untold wealth to unimaginable povertyThe action is pretty much non stop as Alexandria does indeed wreak revenge （with Kaylas help）， some of the men she has to deal with are pure evil， no redeeming features and their brutality is shockingA good tense start to this thriller series that was told well and kept me invested throughout， look forward to her next adventures and where it takes her in Book 2 and 35 Stars9/10 。。。more
